Two Halves of Town, Two Kinds of Floor
Epoxy flooring in Williamsport depends partly on which part of town you live in. The original section, called Old Town, sits in bottom land by the Wabash River. New Town was built on the hill above it. Fall Branch runs between them and drops over a sandstone ledge at Williamsport Falls, which is listed at 90 feet and is Indiana's tallest waterfall. The town is small, but its homes sit on very different ground.
Bottom land and basement moisture
Low ground near a river tends to stay wetter than ground on a hill. If your home is in Old Town, we pay close attention to the moisture test before we coat a basement. Here is how we handle it:
- A reading in the normal range gets a standard primer and Basement Floor Epoxy.
- A higher reading gets a moisture-tolerant primer made for damp slabs.
- Water coming through cracks or the floor joint means the water problem gets fixed first. We will not coat over an active leak.
Up the hill in New Town, basement slabs are often drier. We still test every one.
Sandstone foundations and old floors
Sandstone was once quarried below the falls and used for many local building foundations. Homes of that age often have basement floors that were poured or patched long after the walls went up. The slab may be thin, rough or out of level. Our Concrete Crack & Floor Repair work fills cracks, patches broken areas and grinds high spots before any coating. We will not grind into or coat old stone walls. Our work is the concrete floor.
Shops and industrial work nearby
Williamsport has several industrial employers. TMF Center makes construction and trucking parts, GL Technologies makes industrial tooling, and Kuri-Tec makes industrial hoses. People who work around equipment all day often keep a serious shop at home too. For those floors we install Shop & Commercial Floor Epoxy, a thicker system that handles rolling loads, oil and solvents. A textured topcoat adds grip when the floor gets wet.
Garages along State Road 28
State Road 28 runs through Williamsport, and winter road salt comes into garages on every tire. A coated floor keeps that brine on the surface where you can squeegee it out. For most two-car garages here we suggest one of three options: 1. Garage Floor Epoxy with a clear topcoat, for a clean solid color. 2. Epoxy Flake Floor, which hides salt residue and adds texture. 3. Polyaspartic Floor Coating, when you need the garage back faster.
Hospital and care settings nearby
St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital is Warren County's only hospital, a 16-bed acute care facility, and Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation also operates in town. We do not claim any work at those facilities. We mention them because local clinics, offices and care-related businesses often ask about floors that mop clean and resist spills. For small commercial spaces like that, we can talk through a seamless epoxy system and the downtime it needs.
What you get from us
Every estimate includes measurements, a moisture reading and notes on cracks and old coatings. The written quote lists each step and the total. You get written times for walking on the floor, moving things back and parking.

Williamsport Questions
My house is in Old Town. Can you still coat my basement?
Often, yes. We test the slab for moisture first. A higher reading gets a moisture-tolerant primer. If water is actually coming through the floor or walls, that has to be fixed before any coating.
Do you coat home shop floors that see oil and solvents?
Yes. Our shop-grade epoxy is thicker than a standard garage coat and uses a chemical-resistant topcoat. Tell us what you use in the shop so we can match the system.
Can you coat a thin or rough older basement slab?
In many cases. We grind, patch and fill first. If the slab is badly broken or heaving, we will tell you it needs concrete work before it can be coated.
